Crazy Legs Events

A Half Marathon trail race, along the Middlewood Way and Macclesfield Canal.

Race starts at 9:30am

The race venue is the Railway Pub, 223 Stockport Rd, Rose Hill, Marple, Stockport, Cheshire, SK6 6EN - there will be toilets, refreshments and very limited parking at the pub.

Registration opens at 8:00am

The race start is 1/3 mile away at; Marple RUFC, Ridge Sports Pavilion, Wood Lane, Marple, Stockport, Cheshire, SK6 7RE

Race Limit - 500

Minimum Age - 17

Medal and Goody bag to all finishers.

Cut Off Time
This year we don’t intend to impose a cut off time for slower runners. Instead we intend to leave all the signage out, but will stand down the marshals at intervals in line with a runner who would complete the course within a 2:45hr finish time.

We would ask slower runners to familiarise themselves with the course so that they can find their way back to the finish line safely.

If you feel you are going to be outside the 2:45hr time limit please let us know at registration and please ensure we have your mobile no. Our timer has offered to stay at the finish line until at least 3:00hr limit

This race sold out last year so there will be no entry on the day.

Entry fee includes a £1.00 booking fee.

In line with most other events companies we don't offer refunds, but if you find you are unable to attend an event, please let us know at least five days prior to the event and we will happily defer your entry or transfer it to someone else.
